ISLANDS is a film about a woman who lives in isolation amidst the rural landscape of Prince Edward Island. Burdened by the belief that she has been cursed she is determined to separate herself from others for the rest of her life. When she has a chance meeting with a desperate and solitary man, they spark a small hope for a less lonely future. But will it last?

 

ISLANDS was the recipient of the 2013 CBC 321 Production Grant Award, as well as supported by the Maud Whitmore Scholarship, The PEI Council of the Arts, ACTRA Maritimes, Indiegogo Funders, and The Island Media Arts Co-op.
